Love this cartoon . . . the new year brings resolutions, new vision statements and many fine intentions.  Ironically, letting go of the ideal is often the key to getting there.  As Leonard Cohen says in his song "Anthem" - 

"Ring the bells that still can ring,
Forget your perfect offering.
There is a hole in everything,
That's how the light gets in."
